We were quite late for our booking (later than the 15min grace period) so I called ahead and the staff were very kind and told us not to worry, we would be accommodated when we arrived. We had booked indoor seating. There is outdoor uncovered seating in their garden type area and then outdoor covered seating under a transparent canopy where you overlook the canal. All very lovely, but as the spring evenings can get a bit cold we opted for indoors. We had a choice of tables and so selected one to our liking. The service was very pleasant. The food cam quickly and was lovely. It's nothing ground breaking, the menu is fairly simple, but it is a gastro-pub so as long as they do it well then that's ok. Prices are what you would expect to pay in London and also taking into account the area. Overall, it was a lovely evening and we would definitely go back. ”

“ The Waterway offered fantastic food, really good service, and even better management. I really recommend their steaks as it really was one of the best I had. The location was very welcoming, clean and elegant. On top of all of the above, what impressed me the most it was how management was able to handle an uncomfortable situation: During our lunch a mishap happened, and one of our personal items was damaged. Nonetheless, with extreme professionalism, the general manager Antonio, put effort in trying to remedy the situation, and proposed a satisfactory solution. I really recommend this place for its food, location and most importantly to the attention they give to its clients. An attention that I have never found anywhere else. ”
